HOPE & A Classmate From School

I found this on my favorite site , Lol. I really do love it just not enough time to look around like I would like but ....... that's ok.

Anyway ..........

Last Friday I was on Facebook and I just so happened to see one of my classmates sister's profile. We weren't friends so I sent her a friend request. It had been a while since I had heard from my friend from school. She accepted my request and then I read these words My Sis has Breast Cancer. My heart sank for a moment. Then I thought I know she is tough. My Grandma & My own Mom lost both there breasts and even though my Grandma is gone now. She didn't die from the cancer. I know there is always Hope even in the darkest moment. So I went on to share my story w/her sister. We talked and she said that really helps. She told me she would tell her sister we talked and that was all I heard from her.

Yesterday I stopped by her page to leave a message and I found this .........

Read my post on my sis. It could b worse but lots of hurdles and results will determine what now. I talk 2 much..lol.. but the responses from people that went 2 school or... in an upper class and encouraging words. One came from Nevada. So now I like fb. Have a good weekend.

This was to another friend and I felt so good inside. I helped her just by telling her what we have been through. You know it's just the little things and telling someone you will pray and be there for them. You just never know when a smile a hug a little chat might help. So knowing my friend from school is going to be going through some Huge changes in the next few months please just keep her & her family in your prayers.

Thanks so much it means a lot to me too.

It really does help so much just to be able to connect with others who have gone through something similar. When my mom died, I didn't know anyone young who had lost their mom and I felt so alone and just wished I had someone to share with. Being an only child, I didn't even have a sibling to share my grief with. Blogging really helped me to be able to share and meet others who had gone through the same thing.

That is sad news but how wonderful that you could connect with her, pray for her and be able to get all of us praying too! Keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.
