A Rooster !!!!!
I thought for a moment I was in the country again , Lol. There is a lot of houses in this area , so I was sorta surprised to see it. I went and picked up the kids and came back and he was still there. Didn't seem to mind the school kids at all. Ridge and I think he was more like a pet for someone. Anyway it sure gave us something to talk about on the way home from school.

That's funny you saw one!
When I was little, I raised a chick and named her Patricia Ann, the prettiest name I could think of at the time. She was raised in a bird cage on the back porch, and we let her outside as she got older. Patricia Ann turned out to be a big red rooster! He would walk up the back steps at night and sleep on the screened in porch. One night he didn't come in, so we assumed that a predator got him since he never came back.
Caroline, you always bring back good memories for me! Not the part that he disappeared, but the fact that he was a good pet! I sure did love him.
How cute!! Glad the kids had a chance to see it too!

We had a pet duck when we were kids. His name was George. But he turned out to be a girl...Ha! Anyway, George got out and someone shot her. So sad.
Yesterday we found a dead skunk on our patio. Hubby called the animal control to remove it!
Life is strange sometimes! But always interesting!
