We only went to about twenty houses and they came up with this much. Also a couple houses gave a 12oz can of Pop. They were already in the fridge when I took the pics.

As a standing rule all candy must be checked. Everything looked alright so last nite I let them have a couple. Also Toostie Rolls are my favorite so I tell the kids they have to give Mom a few of them for walking along , Lol. We were only gone less than a hr. It was fun. Last year we used the last of our candy just a little before Christmas.

looks like a great "stash"! What a cute idea with the pencil, I'll have to remember that for next year to hand out. That is neat that you limit what they can have so it lasts longer :)

Love their candy! I always picked out my kids' Hershey bars. Love your big monkey, too!
My husband takes the kids out, and I'm the candy passer-outer at home. That's INTERESTING that people were handing out cans of pop! (Guess they thought the adults shlepping their kids around might be getting thirsty!) We limit the kids' candy to 4 a day so it lasts quite a while, and they can't eat the sticky things like Tootsie Rolls or gummy-things. ~Debbie
It is so much fun to go out and get candy. Looks like they did a good job!
