Just A Little Snow

Wow what a BIG Surprise to wake-up too .........

We are from the Great State of Ohio anyway so we are used to seeing the white stuff. The only difference today is the kids got there FIRST SNOWDAY , since moving to Nevada. To those of you who may not know we just moved here 2 yrs ago. Alot of times when they call for snow it stays in the mountains and we might only get a trace to a couple inches then it leaves the next day. My kids are used to snow staying a little to play in. They might not go out today cause Marie has a cough still and it is supposed to be so windy. I took a few pictures this morning since this is the most snow I have saw since our move.

I do laugh a little at people here they think 30 degrees is freezing and they wear BIG coats to me it's not bad nothing like living in the east. Anyway we finally got some real snow and the kids got a day off.

What a great way to spend a MONDAY !!!!

Have a good day !!!

Right outside our Apartment my hubby measured it 11 inches.

We live about 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe and they got 3 Feet and still snowing.

My husband is grew up in Ohio too. He dad and sisters still live there. Dad in Lebanon with one sister and the oldest sister in Cincti.
His youngest brother lives near you now in Nevada and works as a chef and his wife is a school teacher.

Our next forecast calls for a hard frost. Since I live in the foothills this could close school again since driving conditions will be really bad on the hills.

Enjoy the rest of your snow day!!!
