Day 6
How do you answer the question how many children do you have ?
Well I will be very honest I usually just say 4 children. The only time I go out of my way to tell the whole truth is if it is school teacher or someone I knew from High school or at Dr's office. Someone who really cares. I don't like leaving them out but in the past I have got some crazy looks. It's like some people don't think they should count. Another reason I don't say anything is I don't want to hear from them how I'm better off especially since I have 4 children already. I feel like they know I love them and I share them with people who I know really care. I just don't wanta be hurt.

I would imagine that be a hard question to answer. You want to be honest, but at the same time you don't want to cause yourself lots of hurt, having to explain everything, etc. I think you handle it just great with who you tell and your reasons why. It seems like we have standard questions we ask people when we get to know them. What do you do? What does your husband do? How many kids, etc. It does give me pause to wonder if there are other questions to ask that might not cause pain to those suffering with pregnancy losses. Got to think about that one.....
