Lots to Smile About

Wanted to keep you all up to date on things , I was going to post last nite but it was late. I knew I would talk to my sister early this morning.

So we have a lot to SMILE about today !!!!



Last evening when I spoke with Colleen , she told me they were wanting to start taking him slowly off the breathing machine he is using. He still is in ICU & He is pretty much sleeping all the time since they have him on some good pain meds. They also started a bag of liquid food for him last nite. They have some concerns for his kidneys but so far nothing major. So things are looking good and on the up side. Praying they stay that way. I should have a update late today or first thing tomorrow. I'm just so glad things are looking up. God is so Good no matter what.

My sister has been there the whole time. She stayed at the hospital Saturday & Sunday night. Yesterday she got a hold of some good friends of ours that only live 20 min from the hospital. They are great christian people and they came & prayed with Jeff & Colleen. She was happy that she got some good rest last night. She stayed with them and prolly will until Jeff comes home. She doesn't like not being at the hospital but I told her she can rest better at night there.

The main thing is Jeff is getting better and even though it is the start of a long road it looks like the worst is behind us. My sister did want me to thank all of you for your prayers during this tough time.
