A Better Day

Just a little post to tell you all I'm feeling better. Not so sad , just I have a huge heart , things really get to me sometimes. Also being far away from family is sometimes tough to. 2500 miles doesn't make it easy either. I thank you all for the sweet comments. It helps a lot.

Courtney's loss really made me sad. It breaks my heart so much. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. It's so raw and so sad it's hard to lose but now three times. I went through a lot when I was young I had always been told by three different doctor's that I wouldn't be able to have a child. I used to spoil everyone's children. I wanted so much just to have the chance to have that little someone love me so much. There were times I should have been pregnant but nothing. It hurt me , I prayed spent lots of time crying , but then one day it happened and it was the greatest blessing of all. Yes I have lost two children and it hurts. I'm praying for Courtney and Jason and for the days that follow them. I know God is good and he will see them through this hard time in there life once again.

On my bright thought from yesterday .........

I went to school to keep up my kids from school like always. Well both girls were out and I was waiting on Ridge. Sometimes he takes forever, always talking or something. Well finally , there he was and his teacher. Here she wanted to tell me that Ridge done very well in computer class today.

They were studying this ..........

Here his computer teacher gave the 4th and 5th grades a quiz on internet safety. It was only ten questions. So he gave it to Ridge's 3rd grade class and so far from the whole day Ridge was the only one to get a perfect score. I was happy , but on our walk home from school the kids and I was talking about it. I told them that is sad that maybe some children don't know all the knowledge they should or maybe there parents don't take or have the time when they are on the computer. Our desktop sits in our living room so if the children are on the computer I can see everything they are doing and if they have to search for something we ask that they tell us. We also have all there favorites in a folder for each one of them so they don't have to go looking everytime. It really made me feel good that Ridge knew what he should for safety while being on there.

Hope you have a good day !!!!!

God Bless

So good to hear that today is going better!

We haven't had to discuss internet safety with the kids being little still, but I like what you do! I'll have to keep that in mind when the kiddos start getting on the computer more!

so glad you are feeling a bit better; it is hard to be away from family especially when it is that many miles. I know you wish you could be there to help as you could. It is sad with what some people go through in their lives, with losing children, etc. This is one of the times we just have to trust God knows what he is doing and is control.

great that Ridge knows about Internet safety. sounds like you guys have some great safe guards in there too to make sure they are safe while they are exploring all the good things about what the internet has to offer

Glad you are feeling better. It does get a bit overwhelming sometimes with all the heartache we find, especially here in blog world where we are so easily connected all over the world.

Karen
