Lots of Water

Yesterday I got a email from family and friends in Ohio. Sunday night they got some terrible storms. They already had a lot of snow on the ground anyway. I know how bad it floods in the spring but this is the most I have seen since July of 1969 when I was almost five yrs old. My family is safe but some of my friends back there that live in low areas lost a lot of material things but those can be replaced at least No one lost there life.

Here are some pictures , The first two are from Wooster , Ohio.

This is right across the road from where Paul and I worked. We often ate lunch there. One of the best little places in town.

This was a view of the highway outside where we worked at. Oh My I still can't believe how bad it is.

This picture is a picture of our fairgrounds in Millersburg ,Ohio

This picture is in front of Walmart in Millersburg , Ohio.

A young girl 20 yrs old tried to drive in it and the firemen saved her. Thank God she made it.

I still can't believe all the water and they have a lot of work ahead. I talked to my Mom yesterday and the water has went down in places but a lot of bridges was washed away. They are due to have more rain this coming weekend. So please keep all the people that are dealing with flooding or snow. Keep them safe. Also even though a lot of people know this never try to drive through any amount of water. I just wanted to add that my brother is a fireman and so many try it.

That is a lot of water. We have a lot of flooding in this part of TX too, because of hurricanes, etc. and people are always getting stuck in it. You're right.....never try to drive through it...It's always deeper than it looks. Once, I drove through some water on a feeder and ended up having to replace the carpet in my car because it started stinking. I didn't even know water had gotten in until it started stinking. Ha!

wow, that is a lot of water/flooding!!! Hoping that this clears up before the snow starts to melt!

I too always wonder why people disregard signs and drive through flooded areas. We see it all the time here. And then someone like your brother has to risk his life to go and pull them to safety.

So sad - I'll be praying for your friends, relatives, & the people of Ohio.

Yeahs they've been getting hammered! We've gotten rain in my area but not severe enough to flood so bad

Those pictures are so sad. I don't know how people live through these tragic disasters.
