I love this song so much. I have been thinking of my Grandma Zollars a lot. I used to spend a lot of time with her in the summer time when I was young. She was a very strong woman and had such a love for the Lord. I can remember her telling me no matter what you are given in life , never forget How Great God is ??
No matter how many storms may blow , his name is always too be praised.
In all the simple little good things , Praise God.
My Grandma played this song a lot on the piano for me. She also requested it played when she passed away.
I love you Grandma & I thank you for all you have taught me. These words mean so much to me. I can't wait to go home someday to Heaven.
"How Great Thou Art"?
Verse 1
O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
(Chorus)
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
Verse 2
And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
(Chorus )
Verse 3.
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
(Chorus)

That has always been one of my faves, too. I got to go to a Billy Graham Crusade one time and this was one of the songs they sang. Beautiful!
Just reading the words brought chills to me, it's a wonderful song.
