Last night was open house for our children.
It's always exciting to meet new teachers and too see a new year start.
We already knew Jennifer's teacher. She also taught Thaniqua in the second grade. In Jennifer's class Jennifer had left a note on her desk for us. So cute. There was also a paper for us to write her a note when she went to school today.
Next was Thaniqua's teacher. I have seen her and she taught Ridge for reading last year but other than that I really didn't know much about her. She is nice and so kind. All about your child and learning. She seems like a lot of fun. So excited to see another yr start. Thaniqua is in a tougher setting this yr. Her ending yr testing put her there. I'm sure she is going to do Awesome.
Ridge was next and his past year was pretty tough. I was excited to meet his teacher. I have never talked with her before. I walked into his classroom and she said you are Ridge's Mom. I answered Yes I am. She said your son is Amazing. Wow , I was shocked they have only been in school a week and a half. We talked and I really like her. This one thing that really had me a sign That says this ~
" EVERYONE IS SOMEONE "
It really made me smile. It's so true no matter what we all our someone and everyone has a chance to offer this class something. I feel like this school year is going to be Awesome. Ridge's last year in grade school , Wow !!!
Also on another note , I did well last night as we walked by the kindergarten room. I missed my Riley but I know like the sign says Everyone is Someone and he is in Heaven waiting for us.
