Wonderful News

Well this afternoon about 4pm , I got the phone call I was waiting on. Marie , Carly and I walked to the children's school this morning. Ridge and Jennifer stayed home with the sitter. I was going to give it one more shot at trying to get the children back in school. We love that school they have so much to offer and learning is so important to me. I didn't get to see the principal she was in a meeting. Disappointed we came home , then she called me. We talked and then she said we will make a spot for Jennifer. She was cut because there were not enough teachers for First grade. Oh the tears of joy when I told the children after I got off the phone.

So one less thing to stress about and I'm so happy God answered my prayers. So the children return to school this coming Monday and we are all so very HAPPY !!!!

Stressful Day

Today has been so Stressful..........

So much going on and so much I don't know. I have cried and worried and not been ME. I'm usually such a easy-going , fun , Wife and Mommy. Today I just feel like a million pieces. I have been praying for some kind of answers to so much I wish I knew.

I know God is in control of our every move and it's him that knows what will happen next but today I just need to remember to trust him. He loves me so much. So I ran across this online when I was looking for a image and it is so true to my life right now.



I just pray that everything that is going on all works out and I'm so sorry I don't usually get like this but right now I have so much to deal with it is hard. I thank you God for all you have blessed me with.

Our Weekend w/ some Drama

Well we had a pretty good weekend. Marie had a birthday party to attend on Saturday afternoon. We all were invited , we are good friends with the parents. Paul just got off work at noon and then the party was at one. That was the fun part of the weekend. The rest wasn't bad just had some drama and I so wish it wouldn't have had to been this way.

Well Friday nite when we were going to leave to go to the store. Jennifer came in and said Jared was outside over at the park. Paul just looked at me and shook his head. He was supposed to leave for Reno on Friday. Dad told him as we were leaving that if he wanted to he could wait outside we would be back in a hr or so. Well we came home and no Jared so we thought he was upset since we didn't let him stay inside until he got back. Well next thing one of the kids said Jared was here. Dad and I decided to have him come in and be honest about what was going on. Well that was a failed idea but we let Jared stay the weekend w/us. Dad told him he couldn't be here when we were gone because of some things that went on before. So he agreed to that. He told us he was leaving Monday morning on the bus to go to Reno at 7 am. Dad told him he would drop him off at the bus stop on his way to work. So this morning they left. Jared didn't talk to us over the weekend but at least he had somewhere to stay and something to eat. I just pray that whatever he is doing or going to try works out. I know sometimes you have to let them try to do things to grow up. I know I made mistakes and it is all the process of learning. I really hope that he stays safe. I know that we as parents we love him so much and down deep we really care and just want something good to come out of this. No matter how much it seems like we don't care to him.

As I told the children last nite before bed and prayers is that God loves all of us and he will be looking out for Jared every step of his way.

4th of July "Late "

This is like a week late Sorry .......

Our 4th of July weekend was pretty laid back. Paul just got done working 13 days straight so we all enjoyed seeing him. Sometimes it's like all he does is eat and sleep.

Friday night we went and got groceries. I went to Smith's instead of Walmart they had a bunch of in store items on sale. I kinda rough added up how much we would save but I came up with $ 50 dollars or so. Well my hubby knows I'm all about saving money. We checked out and here we saved $ 74 dollars !!! Yay I was happy. I think Paul was too , rather shocked.

Saturday we didn't do much , We cooked out for supper and Paul watched the NASCAR race that evening. Carly doesn't nap during the day so she is really tired by evening. They had the carnival next door to us so I decided I would take Ridge , Marie and Jennifer. Carly stayed home w/Dad. I put her to bed first. Here is a few pictures I took of the kids.

We had a good time. It was better to go in the evening after the sun went down. We stayed a hr or so.

Sunday the 4th we cooked out again. We made S'mores for most of the neighbor kids. Bummed around and the fireworks are set off right across the road from us. It's nice to not have to fight the traffic. I tried to get Carly to stay awake but she fell asleep at 8:30. I told Paul there is always next year. I was sorta surprised she slept through all the noise. The other kids had a blast.

Monday Paul was still home and I did some extra cleaning. He just was enjoying his last day of vacation.

So that pretty much raps up our 4th of July.

Updates and LaBron James

Well for a update on my Uncle he had surgery and came through fine. Yay !!! I was so happy to hear that !!

As for my Mom , she has a appt this coming Wednesday. She seemed in good spirits and is not to worried. She told me it won't do her much good anyway since God is in control.

Then last night we had lots of drama going on Paul came home from work and then ate supper. I cleaned up the kitchen and finished a couple other things. Was about to start Carly's bath. Paul got on the computer like always. Paul called for me he told me he had a message from Jared. Here he had to have all his stuff out by noon today or they were going to start eviction proceedings. So Paul got ready and went and got his stuff to put in our storage. Jared never came here, he told his Dad he was just going to go backpacking and see what he could find. So he is leaving this morning sometime. So at least he got his stuff out just hope he is careful doing whatever. So just pray for his safety.

Then last night was LaBron James and where he would end up going to play ball. Well I'm not a big NBA fan but I do watch it from time to time since Paul does. We both had talked a few days ago I knew LaBron would not stay in Cleveland. I hoped in a way he would , so did Paul. It was sad to see how many people put such bad things about him online after he said where he was going. I explained to the kids that people shouldn't be like that. He is a good player but it takes the whole team to work together.

So last nite on my Facebook status I put :

My heart is in OHIO always and it is a sad nite there , but tomorrow is a new day and we will be alright w/out LaBron James. Go Cavs !!

I wish him lots of luck in his new start in Miami !!



Also I just got a phone call from my sister and she got a job in a factory. She starts Monday. I'm so excited for her. She has been out of work since the place she was working closed down last September.

Change and Please Pray

Wow , Last nite late I looked at my blog and my background was gone. Our internet has been acting up so I thought it just didn't come up right. This morning I checked it and it was still not there. I then went to the site where I got it from and here they aren't operating right now some sort of issue. So I guess that means I'm going to try to find something that fits us. So I just thought I would let you know you may see a few changes in the next few days.

Also I have a few prayer requests to.

I found out that my only Uncle is in the hospital today and having surgery for a kidney stone and also his appendix is ready to rupture. I just talked to my cousin and he is resting at the moment and being prepped for surgery.

Also after I found that out I called my sister and we talked. My Mom had a Dr Appt yesterday and they found she has a slight heart condition and has to see another Dr on Monday. My Mom wasn't home when I tried to call so will try later tonite. I'm sure she will be fine and it's just another bump in the road as I could hear my Mom say. She always tries to rise above whatever comes her way.

Also last please pray for my step-son Jared. He still has not found a job and he won't take any advice from us. He only has 2 days left in his apartment until he is evicted for no rent paid for July. So I'm hoping he will do something or at least talk to us. It's hard on us cause we worry but at the same time he needs to do something on his own w/out being told.

So if you could keep these people in your prayers for us. I know that God is Good and he will see us through all of this.
