4 WEEKS OLD

Well yesterday my Little Miss Carly was 4 weeks old. So hard to believe that it's been that long. Seems like just yesterday I was pregnant & waiting for her to come out. She is growing & changing everyday so much. I just love being a Mommy every child is so special in there own little way. This is the first time in my life that I haven't worked so w / Carly I'm seeing things that I probably wouldn't have seen if I had a job. Well that's all for now HUGS !!!!!

MEMORIAL DAY

Happy Memorial Day to all. This day means so much to me. It's more than just parades & swimming & picnics. It's a day to remember those who have served for our country & the ones that still are. I can remember as a child going to parades & seeing my Grandpa be in the parade for serving in World War I. He was one of few left in the county I'm from in Ohio. After he passed away I was older & in the parades myself w/ the school. It still was a day that meant alot to me for the right reasons. Also it was a time to go to the graveyard & plant flowers & remember those who died. Now that I live in Nevada it's not so easy to go to the graveyard & plant things or go just to visit. My Father died in 1986 & I was only 21. I miss him so much, he was such a awesome father. Again Happy Memorial Day !!!!!!!

3 WEEKS TODAY

Today Little Miss Carly is 3 weeks already. Monday was her Dr Appt check-up. She weighed 9 lbs & 14 ozs. 22 inches long already, Wow it just seems like yesterday I had her. She is already sleeping though the nite pretty good. Goes to bed at 10 or so & gets up anytime after 4 am or so. The lastest she has got up is 6 am. All of my children were pretty good at sleeping at nite, Thank God.Well it's late & Mom is tired so better run for now.

2 WEEKS ALREADY

Wow yesterday my Little Miss Carly was 2 weeks already. So hard to believe & she has changed so much. It's so unreal how fast they grow. I guess now that I'm a stay-at-home MOMMY I can see it more. It's also neat that a child has so much love for you. While we are on the subject of love & kids. This is so AWESOME my Jennifer who is 5yrs old woke up on Mother's Day & it was early prolly like 6am or so. I was laying on our loveseat after putting Carly back to sleep around 4 am. Well at about 6:30 am I woke up & looked on the floor right beside the loveseat was Jennifer & her dolls. She woke & said HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY MOMMY !!!!! That made my day right there & it didn't take any money in the world. I was surprised she didn't have to be reminded. Anyway Kids are a AWESOME joy to have you never know what they are going to do next. I can be having the worst day & just a smile or something one of them says makes me think of how proud I am to be a MOTHER.

CARLY'S BABY STORY

Thanx for all the wishes & that. It was a trip & a half. I went to the Doc Appt & was 4 cm & she told me , I would probably go Wed nite or Thurs. I came home at 10am gave the girls a bath there wasn't any school that day.I got there clothes all ready for school the next 2 days. I did one load of clothes & at 12:30 I started having some light contractions. By 2:30 they were very hard & I almost felt like pushing. I got nervous cause it was just me & the 3 kids. I called my hubby & told him to come home fast. We left the kids at the neighbors & off we went. Got to the hospital at 3:20 & they got me all hooked up. The lady tried to tell me my contractions weren't that bad. I was laying there & finally she checked me & I was a 6cm & a full bag. So how they finally decide to admit me, WOW !!!!!! I had to walk down a big hallway & get in bed. By the time they did all that another nurse checked me it's 4:50 or so. I was 8cm & ready & no Dr yet. I told them that I go really fast once I start & well I guess no one believed me. My hubby thought he was going to deliver her. At 5:30 my Dr shows up & can't believe it was going down so fast. Well she checked me & told me if I wanted to push I could & I did a couple times & water broke & they didn't have the bed torn apart yet & baby was on her way. I had her at 6pm & the nurse & my hubby had to help with my legs cause they didn't have the bed ready but I tried to tell them. Anyway things went great & Carly was perfect. She even looked at me & smiled. The nurses talked all nite at how fast it all happened. Anyway they sent me home yesterday at 11:30 am & baby Carly wasn't even a day old yet. I was happy to be here. But what a story I just had to share. Just glad I left home when I did. Or the kids day off of school might have been delivering there sister, LOL. It's funny now but not at the time. OUR NEW ADDITION

Wow it's been a while since I have been on here. Well our new daughter came to join us after all the waiting & waiting. She was only 2 days late but she made a very fast birth. Her name is Carly Lorraine Croley. Carly was my choice I always loved that name & my Daddy used to call me that for short as I was growing up. Her middle name is after my husband's mother. She weighed 8 lbs & 12 ozs. She was 20 inches long & born at 6 p.m. It was a very fast delivery & I'm so glad she is here. She is a very good baby & we all love her so much.
