A Balloon & Field Day

Thought I would share this beautiful hot air balloon we seen while walking to school Thursday morning. It was super low & Jennifer bless her heart said maybe they would give her a ride to school. She is so silly !!!! It was really nice to see & very pretty colors.



Friday was the children's field day at school, of course I said yes I would help out. It was a beautiful day , not to hot a little wind so nice no one had to get sick from the heat. They had a lot of fun things for them to do & of course the Tug of War my favorite. I'm so glad the kids enjoy me helping out & being there.

I had fun a blast w/ the kids & then got to eat lunch with all of them & there friends.


Well I'm off to bed have more to say but I have to be at school to dress up like a pirate for Thaniqua's class in the morning. Thaniqua's teacher is awesome & well I couldn't turn her down. Thaniqua knows nothing about it so should be interesting.

Three more days , School is out.

I have been so busy this past week. School , School & more School. I really enjoy being a huge part of my children's life at school , so no way am I complaining. This school year is coming to a close & its extra emotional. My oldest is graduating from grade school my 5th grader , next year middle school. I'm doing good have been extra busy helping out w/ lots of end of school year fun.

So Wednesday is a Huge day for Mom & my Ridge. I am excited for the school year to end but looking forward to new beginnings.

Today I'm taking a few minutes to wish My MOM a Happy Happy Birthday !!!

She loves pink roses , so this for you Mom.

So glad that you are home she was released Tuesday afternoon & doing well. I have talked to her a couple times & can't wait til I go home to visit soon.

This is Amazing

Some of you might have seen this video already but this is so Amazing. I'm also from Ohio so it really means a lot. The best part of this her parents really raised her well. I'm so glad to see someone doing something nice instead of always hearing the bad things.

Columbus, Ohio. June 2, 2012-- Girl's State Track & Field Championship. With less than 100 meters to finish in the girls 3200 meter race, runner Arden McMath collapsed on the track. She tried to get up, but collapsed to all fours again.

West-Liberty Salem's Meghan Vogel could have taken the opportunity to pass her--but she didn't.

Meghan stopped, helped Arden to her feet and literally carried her the last 30 meters across the finish line.

She also made sure that Arden crossed the line before her, even though it meant that she finished dead last in the race.

With all the pessimistic news surrounding the youth of America lately, it's the kids like this that restore my faith and give me hope for the future.

It's the kids like this that deserve the headlines & the attention.

Update on My Mom's Surgery

Would like to thank everyone for there prayers & support today for my Mom. I just spoke w/ my sister on the phone & surgery went well. There was lymph node involvement but we are praying for a successful outcome. I even got to say hi to my Mom even though she was very sleepy still. So thankful , for God is Good.

We will know tomorrow more on where things stand after the Doctor talks to Mom.

For My Mom & Tomorrow

This is for my Mom , Monday she is having Breast Cancer surgery. Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers as we walk this road once again.

I remember ten years ago when I heard those words that my Mom has breast cancer , the fear. Here we are again removing another breast. I'm stronger and my Mom is so positive for nothing but great things. I so wish I was there but today I had a awesome chat on the phone. My Mom quoted this verse from the Bible to me ,

Exodus 15:26
“If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

God knows the outcome so as my Mom said we have to trust in him & have faith for he is the healer of all. So I'm praying & waiting for a phone call from my sister to tell me all is well with the surgery. I feel good about it & because I know that in everything God does is Good.

A Walk in the Park

Tonight I spent some time with Jennifer , we took a walk through the park just as the sun was going down over the mountains. I like my one on one time with my kids when I get a chance. On our way home the moon was beautiful so Jennifer wanted to take a few pictures with my phone. Not to bad it was beautiful out.
