But then Jeff had some problems. Nothing real serious just some little things that made them not be able to do what they wanted. So the breathing tube is still in and they had to add the oxygen levels some more. The fluid that is built up in his lungs is causing him to have a stomach ache. So they don't want him throwing up with the tube and all wired up. So last night they changed to a different type of ventilator. Today they are hoping to be able to maybe do what they wanted yesterday. I talked to my sister early this morning and Jeff was given no pain meds last night so that is great. One great thing is the leg that was hurt looks great the Dr stated yesterday. The big step right now is to get Jeff out of ICU. We are all praying that is soon.
Colleen shared with me a card while we were talking on the phone that one of there Amish friends had brought them. Here was the verse inside.
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
What a great verse and so fitting right now. Remembering how Good God is all the time.

Amen! God is Good All the time! Keeping your family members in prayer! Praying the breathing tube comes out and he heals very quickly!
