A Beautiful Poem and Some Thoughts

I wanted to share this poem. My sister sent it to me. It was in the newspaper back home. My heart is sad for the six children that lost there parents last Friday. I know that right now things look like the father killed there mother and then took his own life. The sad part is these children were home at the time it happened. I'm so thankful that whatever happened the children were spared any danger. I pray everyday that these children will get to remain together. I know that they are doing everything possible to see that happens.

I pray that God will give them peace throughout this terrible ordeal. I know that God loves all of us and is always there. I pray that the families and friends of this family can put there differances aside and remember the children are what is important right now. I know that the county is doing some great things for the children and the school already has been doing things together with the children since it happened.

Here is the poem.

A Time To Grieve , A Time for Joy.

A time to grieve, A time for joy
Sometimes we can carry both.
When we see someone pass
we have a time to grieve
but also a time for joy

you see, we can grieve their loss
but we can also have joy for no more pain
we can also have joy for their peace
But we can cry for their loss
But we also have hope!

We know someday we will see them again!
Someday we will have joy in seeing them.
Right now it is dark and gray
The rain won't stop in our heart.
We can't see the light

The light house is there
His name is Jesus.
He is our light in trials
The darkest of night can't block His light
The darkest days can't block Him.

Though we may grieve,
though we may feel pain,
We can have hope
that someday we will have joy
Our hope in healing is Jesus

Seeing the lighthouse can be hard.
Seeing the hope in the dark is difficult
The closer we get to shore, the better it gets
The shore is where we will meet Him
The shore is Heaven.

How sad. So thankful that we can turn to the Lord for strength. There's just no way to go through life without Him!
