My Boy

Ridge my son .....

He is pretty Awesome, caring , thoughtful and always willing to help someone out.

I love him a whole bunch. I try not to have a favorite, all my kids have something special about them. I love them all and thank God everyday for blessing me with them.

Anyway ....

Monday was the first day back at school since Spring break. Ridge had his homework for the week. They have so much to do everyday and return it on Friday. Ridge usually does his homework as soon as he gets home. Mom and Dad's rule before dinner. Usually from 7 to 8 in the evening Ridge uses my laptop to play games or look up something. Well Monday nite just before he got off he wanted to know what Dialect meant. Dad and I discussed it and then he wanted to know if he could print it out off the computer. Of course I said it was fine. He wanted to take it school and show his teacher. Well he took it to school and he was the only student in the class that asked or looked it up. Mrs Browning gave Ridge the " Above and Beyond Award " She was so excited that when I picked up the kids on Tuesday afternoon she said make sure Ridge tells you about class today. Wow that made me feel so good as a parent. I was very proud and he takes a lot of pride in his work.
