~ Week 7 - The Secret ~

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the great achievements of the future.

To me this means to forget about the past and what mistakes you might have made. To look toward the future and what greatness you can make out of it. I know from time to time I may have not always used my best judgement on whatever the case may be but those are the bumps in life's road. I know one bad mistake I made in life and that was my older 2 children's father. At the time I didn't know he was a drug addict and very controlling, when we first started seeing each other. Well I had 2 wonderful children out of a very hard mistake and went through alot of tough times in my life because of him. As I look back today at the great part of it all my children Ridge and Marie. Ridge is in a class at school for gifted children and Marie was recently picked as student of the month in her grade for being nice and always lending a hand to help someone. That makes me feel good in life that just because it was a mistake that I didn't see right in front of me and that I have something good to look at everyday out of it.
As I tell my children that's why there are erasers on pencils and such, it's ok to make mistakes that's how we learn & just try your best the next time.
