Today I'm going back to Nov 2002. I was working at a warehouse that housed parts for Rubbermaid. I drove a towmotor there. At the time I didn't have a car but I had 2 children to provide for. I walked to work everyday rain or shine. It was about 2 miles. Well sometimes when we got off work one of my co-workers would give me a ride to my sitter's. I didn't like to ask anyone so somedays I would just walk home. No Big Deal to me. I liked to walk anyway.

Well one day after work I was walking and it started raining a little. Well Paul one of the guys I worked with who had always passed me when I was walking , stopped today. He asked me if I wanted a ride. I said Yea since it looks like it might really start raining hard. Well a few days later Paul asked me if I would like him to start picking me up for work and dropping me off. I thought about it a few days and then I told him Yes. Well here after a couple months we started dating and now the guy from work that offered me a ride in the rain turned out to be my Hubby " Paul " and a wonderful father to our children. I still think back to that day with just a few raindrops and I thank God I said Yes to the ride.

God is so Good all the time. He put me in the right place at the right time.

Mothers Day 2010

Mother's Day 2010 ..........

Well I'm going to start off with Jennifer my six year old. She is in Kindergarten so her first time to get to make Mommy something at school. She was so excited Friday afterschool and wanted to give it to me early. I told no you hide it and Sunday morning you can give it to me. Well she told Daddy that Mommy had to have a cake so Saturday morning we went to Walmart and Jennifer picked out my cake. I forgot to take a picture before we ate it after lunch ...... oops.....

On Saturday My husband Paul and Carly got me a planter of flowers. We live in a Apartment and you can't plant anything really so I have a few flowers I can take care of. I'm from Ohio and always had flowers but living in Nevada and the hot dry summers things don't grow well anyway. So I'm really happy with a big pot of flowers.

My son Ridge is in the third grade and always full of surprises. Well Friday he told me he thought he left my Mother's Day stuff at school.

I should have known better ........

Anyway this morning when the girls were getting there stuff out , guess who ...

Ridge had his backpack and said Hey Mom , I didn't forget you. What a son... I love him.

Here he had a baby food jar with tissue paper on the outside and a tea light candle in it. I love candles , so I really liked it.


Then he made a Mother's Day card out of recycled paper. Which was very special.


On the inside it read this :

Everyone got to pick there own words to spell out MOTHER , so I really felt special.



This last one was not a Mother's Day present but a group I joined on CafeMom. I had this Tag made a couple of months ago. I just love it !!!



Today is a bittersweet day for me. I have four precious children on earth and I have two in heaven. I know that there will be a wonderful day when I will get the chance to finally meet them but until then I have two water fountains in my home that give me that calming effect. I know that they are in Heaven and safe but as I look at my fountains , I have a peace inside my heart. They are never forgotten. So right now I wanta said I love you my precious angels in Heaven.

Being a Mother is the greatest fun filled always learning something new job. I wouldn't trade a day of it.

We had my favorite for dinner tonite , Yummy Homemade Lasagna !! I cooked but Dad and the kids cleaned up and my sweet husband even did the laundry today. While I played with the kids and just took it easy.

So I hope you had a very Happy Mother's Day too ......

All Amazing Mother's

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day !!!

It's a bittersweet day at our home. I have 6 children that the Lord has blessed me with. The sad part is 2 of those blessings I never got to meet. I never got to see what kind of person they might become. But one thing I do know that God has a plan for me and they are right there waiting until that day when this world is wiped away and we all go to heaven. So even at different times out of the year when I get sad I have to remember that God is so Good and so Great and there is the promise of life forever with him. So even though the road here is hard to walk with losing two precious children we will all be a family again so today if you have lost a child I want you to remember that we are all amazing Mom's and one day we will all have our families together again.

God is so Good through it all.

Yesterday was Great

Yesterday was a BIG DAY for Ridge .........

On Wednesday he had tryouts for the school Talent Show ......

The reason why it was a Big thing for him was he has always wanted to try but could never do always afraid. Alot of it goes back to how his real father put him down so much. Last year the day before tryouts he changed his mind. This year I went to the school at 3pm to get the girls. Ridge had tryouts had 3:59 wow what a crazy time slot. He came out with the girls and I said Are you not staying ?? He said No I just came out to see you. So the girls and I decided to just hangout until he was done. I had a snack for all of them anyway. You know going to school always makes you hungry. LOL.

Well he just before he tried out a friend Dawn who her daughter was trying out stayed to watch Carly while I peeked at Ridge while he was doing his dance. He decided to dance to Taylor Swift's song " Fearless ". He did good and so Yesterday we found out Ridge made it !!!!! YAY Ridge
So next Friday is the show !!! I'm so excited and I don't care if he wins or not it's just great he gave it a shot.

Also yesterday Ridge got P E Hero of the day. Not sure what all it is about but something to do with how well you do something in Gym class.

Then also yesterday Ridge came out with a card and a little basket that had a magnet and a piece of candy , post it notes and flower seeds in it.

I volunteer to grade papers or anything I can do at home for any of the children's teachers. I can't go to the school a lot because of Carly's age but I love to be a part of my children's school.

So I got this from Ridge's Teacher yesterday. It made me feel so good.







Also Yesterday I had 3 of my blogging friends that are pregnant had Dr Appts and they all got good reports. YAY !!!!
Then just before I left to pick up my kids from school I checked my emails and a friend of mine that recently lost her baby girl told me she is pregnant with her Rainbow baby !!!! I'm so excited for all of them.

You know God is so Good all the time.

This photo was taken when Carly was 3 months old. Jennifer loved helping me anyway she could. We now call Jennifer Little Mama , LOL. Alot of people thought Jennifer would have a problem with the new baby but I think she proved them wrong. Still today at Carly now turning one. Jennifer is still the best helper. Such a precious picture.
