Six Word Saturday

Here is how it works using six words , describe your life ( or something ) in a phrase.

Praying Tomorrow , Goes by very smoothly.

Tomorrow " Sunday " will be a very trying day at our home and I'm praying for a smooth day. My stepson is moving out and it is because he won't respect some rules we have at our home. We gave him the chance to change but no luck. I think the move will make him realize what he had. I'm just praying that no harsh words are said and that in time he will come around. I'm a stepmom caught in middle.

God Bless
Happy 6 Week Saturday.

9 Months

Here it is another month gone by, WOW !!!!

Carly is 9 months today !!

Something new all the time , She has 2 teeth now. Eating more off the table and liking that alot. Starting to chatter and she loves to scream real loud. I think she got that from me. Took 2 little steps the other day and I got to see it !!!

There is one really cute new thing that she can do , she can wave. She waves all the time. In the morning when I get her out of her crib and just anytime. Sooooooo cute but just like a child when you want them to they won't ,but that's ok. So here is Carly saying Hi !!!

Have a great Friday

Some Ridge Time

Well it's been a busy past couple days. Kids have got out of school early since Tuesday and so today I got to spend sometime with My Ridge. It felt good and he is my oldest and we don't always get alot of Mother / Son time. Soon my little man will hit 10 and where did the time go.......

Anyway.....

We worked on his Science Fair Project. He is doing it on Making a Egg Float in Salt Water. We looked up some things on the computer. Wrote down information , going through the process and then trying it out. Wow and it really worked. It was just fun to spend some time even if it was doing homework. I'm glad he likes to do things early, hope it always stays like that. It isn't due til Feb 22 but we still have some other things to do for it. We have the basic stuff done and that's Totally Awesome.

As for tomorrow it's a full day of school. Have a great Friday Ridge !!!

Prayers 4 Everyone

This was my status for Facebook today :

Sometimes, no matter how much faith we have, we lose people. But you never forget them. And sometimes, it`s those memories that give us the strength to go on.

Today my heart is broke for one of my friends on Facebook. Last evening she posted that she lost her sweet baby girl earlier in the morning. I have been thinking of her and praying for her so much. She has 3 boys and finally they were having a Baby Girl. So sad, I remember when I was pregnant last yr and she was so excited that I was having a baby girl. I know that God will carry her and her family through this storm. It just breaks my heart.

So today and daily I'm praying for so many of my friends on here and other places. There are some babylost Mom's that are now pregnant with there Rainbow Babies and I pray daily that each and everyone of them have a healthy baby and a great pregnancy. I also pray for the ones that may be TTC.

I don't know everyone's need but I know that God is in control of all. He is always there for us each and everyday. Having this blog has helped me open up and let so many feelings out. I am so thankful for all the friends that I have made on here.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified
because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you;
he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Our School Kids

Well today's post is all about the kiddos at the Croley House.

Bright and early this morning I went to school at 7:20am for Parent/Teacher Conference. I started out w/ My oldest Ridge. It was good and just as I expected. There was a little bad but nothing that we can't work on and that's the way we learn and become a better person. Ridge is in a class for above level normal student. He loves to write stories and someday wants to write a book. He has said that since first grade and so I always tell him that's great. I enjoy Ridge's teacher so much anyway. She is a christian and so much fun to chat with. I want to share one of the neat things that she shared w/ me this morning it was Ridge's caring attitude. There is a little boy in the class that needs alot of patience and Ridge seems to be the only student that spends anytime w/him. That made feel great. Also Ridge came up with the idea that everyone bring in a dollar right after the Haiti earthquake and here the class ended up with almost $75.00. They have 18 students, so Awesome. Sure made me proud.

At 7:50 I went to my daughter Marie's class and she has 2 teachers but they have 33 kids too. She is also doing very well and of course she just got Student Spotlight a couple weeks ago. She has a couple areas to work on but that's ok. Her teachers said she was very caring and helpful too. I have to share this sorta funny. A boy that dropped his crayons the other day and Marie helped him pick them up. The teacher seen it and he kissed Marie on the cheek. The teacher said it was just so cute. I would have loved to been there. Can't wait til Marie comes home today. :)

Jennifer was my last one at 8:10 and of course I see her teacher more often since she is in Kindergarden, so I knew this would be a breeze. She called Jennifer a Gem in class and very helpful. She knows all her letters and sounds. She is reading a low level first grade book. The teacher said with older siblings it didn't surprise her. Jennifer reads to Carly a lot and of course Carly pays so much attention. Jennifer also is a little shy but I'm sure things will change before long.

So all in all it was a great morning and I'm glad everyone is doing great. So hard to believe the school year is half over.

God Bless

It's Monday & I'm Smilin

Well it's Monday and soooooo Far a Great One.

Dad left early for his Dr appt and things were fine. The kids got picked up by a friend for school and everyone was in a good mood for a Monday. Carly has been a bit fussy today and I think it is because she prolly is getting some more teeth. So we have been playing more today. A new show started on Nick Jr called "Team Umizoomi" today and Carly watched it pretty good. Jennifer had to leave for school right when it started, she was a bit sad. I told maybe they will have it on someday when your off school or I could tape it.

Paul called at 2pm and he is on 10 - 12 hr days for the next 7 days which I already knew would happen. So I'm pretty much a single parent this wk. I joke about it because by the time he gets here the kids are almost in bed. Carly will be unless she decides to wait for Dad. Sometimes she does and as soon as he gets here she will go to sleep.

So the kids will be here soon and then supper. I have some cheesey potatoes and ham on the crock pot for Dad and Jared. The kids and I will prolly have some pizza pockets. I buy lean pockets and they love them and I'm in the mood for pizza. The kids always are..........

I started watching this new show on CW channel called " Life Unexpected " last week, and this is the second episode tonight.I really like it and it's by the same person that wrote One Tree Hill. I liked it too.

Then bright and early tomorrow I have to go to school at 7:20 am to talk to my children's teachers. I don't think I will hear any bad but I have been joking with them.

So that's it for our Monday and I'm so happy I'm smilin. A great way to start the week.
Smile God loves You !!

It Finally Happened

Well tonite while I was sitting here trying to catch up on reading blogs and Facebook and checking on somethings online for Ridge's Science Fair Project. My step-son was on our desktop and well it finally happened, pretty sure this time it crashed ,FOR GOOD. The last time it took forever to get it fixed and my husband said we were not getting a new one until after Jared moved out. He goes to alot of not so safe sites and really doesn't listen sooooooo Tonite is worse than the last time.

The only bright thing is this afternoon I was doing some laundry and trying to grade papers for Ridge's teacher at school. My hubby was on my laptop so I was sitting at the computer desk. I have been working on getting all our stuff off of there and so today I planned a easy supper mostly cooked in the oven so I could finish removing stuff from the desktop and I just finished at about four this afternoon. So tonite I'm just happy I saved our stuff, I have been working a couple weeks off and on. So now it's just trying to find a new one we like w /a good price. We are taking our time cause we don't like rushing and buying the first one we see. I'm just glad I finished this afternoon and didn't wait til tomorrow morning like I had at first planned.

God Bless
