I have been trying to get going on this...Caroline,

I have been trying to get going on this same study. I'm really having a hard time with everything that's been going on in my life! :) I am doing it, just in a lot slower pace. lol

I feel the same as you with being more hurt than angry at God. It's such a great loss, it's hard to separate the feelings.

I love the verses out of Job. All of the verses that you posted are wonderful. God is always there....

Thanks for writing this post up.

Love,
JennyJennifer Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14619769165667422761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4856746152536116578.post-86319142138328547562010-03-16T14:44:06.334-07:002010-03-16T14:44:06.334-07:00Being angry is one of the things I like being leas...Being angry is one of the things I like being least. I'm so glad you joined us this week.

Anger is hard to feel and to talk about. As Christians, I think we struggle with those feelings...knowing that we want to trust in God and stay away from bitterness. But, at the same time, anger and questions come and it's hard to know what to do with all that, you know?

I know what you mean about wishing for your Dad's suffering to end...but loving him and wanting him with you at the same time. That was really hard for me with my mom, too.

I love what you said about praising God, even when we hurt and the verses you shared from Job. Those words have ministered to me many times over the years. God is sovereign...and we must accept the good and the adversity. In all of it, He is faithful and worthy to be praised.

Love and prayers for you....Kelly @ Sufficient Grace Ministrieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11182310611088290551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4856746152536116578.post-32408477731544492232010-03-16T10:33:32.666-07:002010-03-16T10:33:32.666-07:00Some how God always knows what I need, and I needed...Some how God always knows what I need, and I needed to read this today!
